Welcome to Apollo
Mind the dust. Apollo is still early in development and we’re still finishing it and writing documentation. Some things here may be incomplete or subject to change.
Apollo is a Linux desktop image designed to be easy to use and up to date without sacrificing on usability. It uses an image-based update system and containerisation to provide a reliable base that accomdoates a wide range of workflows.
Apollo should be especially appealing for everyday use and containerised development, but it can do ultimately anything you want, including gaming. We include Flathub, Homebrew and Distrobox alongside container runtimes to make it easy to find and run the software you need.
This is our combined documentation and blog website. For a more detailed and high-level look at Apollo, see getapollo.dev. See our installation guide to get started with Apollo!
